WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Here are some of our favorite animal stories of the week from our partners in Gray Media:

Carriage traveler (KWGN/Gray News) - A horse logger from Montana is traveling across the United States in a carriage for what will be the fifth time.

Lee the Horselogger first left his hometown of East Glacier, Montana, on Aug. 6, 2006, to travel across the country. He would make the same journey another three times before this year.

Budweiser Clydesdales (Gray News) - The farm in Missouri that breeds Budweiser Clydesdales is welcoming 15 new foals. Warm Springs Ranch in Boonville, Missouri, said 15 Budweiser Clydesdale foals were born during the 2024 Foal Season.

The public’s first opportunity to see the foals will be at this weekend’s Mane Event.

Dog requirements (AP) - All dogs coming into the U.S. from other countries must be at least 6 months old and microchipped to help prevent the spread of rabies, according to new government rules published Wednesday.

The new rules require vaccination for dogs that have been in countries where rabies is common. The update applies to dogs brought in by breeders or rescue groups as well as pets traveling with their U.S. owners.

Man or bear? (Gray News) - A hypothetical question going viral on social media asks women if they’d rather be alone in the woods with an unknown man or a bear.

Majority of women are choosing the bear. In one TikTok video, which was viewed 17 million times, 7 out of 8 women said they’d pick the bear.
